They may seem old-fashioned in some way, but they are solid astrology texts and you will not go wrong with them. They are clear and to the point – which is what we want rather than the vague, one-size-fits-all interpretations of recent times.

There is a strong interest currently in Hellenistic astrology – but let’s work with information from a century when people knew what the actual time was. Wanting to work with the original versions of charts is a bit like using a 286 AT computer with 512 mbs of memory. It doesn’t really perform.

In the same way, using Whole Sign Houses (the original House system, so they say) is like playing a Fisher-Price plastic child’s piano instead of a real one.
